Anything Is Possible
Anything is possible with a Disability: Joseph Bird's Inspiring Climb of Mount Snowdon
Joseph Bird, known online as @CPTruths, has never accepted the limits the world placed on him.
Born three months premature with cerebral palsy, Joseph was told he would never walk, talk, or live independently. But if there’s one thing Joe’s life has proven - it’s that limits are often only in the mind.
In one of The Mission Planet’s most defining moments to date, we had the honour of joining Joe as he set out to summit Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation UK. More than just a hike - this was a symbolic journey. One that represented the thousands of obstacles Joseph has already overcome in life.
We were there not just as his filmmakers, but as his physical support team, emotional anchors, and friends. Together, we captured something truly rare: a real-life superhero proving to the world that anything is possible - even with a disability.

Turning Disability Into Ability
Joe’s message is clear: your mindset is everything.
Throughout the documentary, he shares his personal philosophy of turning disability into ability - of not denying the challenges, but choosing to focus on what is possible instead of what’s not.
At one point, a supporter who saw Joe at the base of the mountain spotted him at the summit and shouted with joy, prompting a round of applause from bystanders. It was a moment none of us will forget. A simple, beautiful reminder of just how far Joe - and all of us - can go when we believe in something bigger.
A Hero to Many
By the end of the climb, Joe had helped raise over £5,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation UK. But his impact went far beyond donations.
His courage, humour, and raw honesty inspired countless others who live with physical or mental disabilities - and reminded us all what it means to persevere with purpose.
Joe’s story is not just his own. It’s a call to every single person who’s ever been told they can’t - to believe that they can.
Why This Matters
At The Mission Planet, we believe in a world where no story goes unheard. We create emotionally powerful films that elevate the voices of those often overlooked - from disabled changemakers to rescued animals, from grassroots communities to endurance-led fundraisers that raise thousands for real-world causes.
This was our first short-form documentary of its kind. And it showed us just how transformative storytelling can be when it's rooted in friendship, truth, and impact.
